Citizen CLP 8301 is an industrial printer, designed for printing of labels up to 8.6 inches (220mm) width. The printer is printing with high speed and resolution 300dpi on self-adhesive labels and non-self adhesive labels. Due to the application, it can work in direct thermal or thermal transfer regime.
ALL METAL CONSTRUCTION, fast processor and high speed interfaces guarantee to the printer long life and fastness. The Hi-Lift™ mechanism makes it the easiest-to-use and reliable wide-format printer on the market.
RESOLUTION - The CLP 8301 has a 300 dpi head as standard making it ideal for retail applications requiring EAN/UCC compliant barcodes.
METAL HI-LIFT™ MECHANISM  with easy media loading makes the printer that much easier to install media or ribbons meaning less downtime and errors.
INTERNAL 8-INCH (200MM) MEDIA CAPACITY: Large capacity internal media holder stores full sizes rolls within the heavy duty metal case, protecting them from dust and dirt.
INTERNAL NETWORKING OPTIONS: Both the optional Ethernet and Wireless LAN options easily fit inside the printer's case.
RELIABLE AND EASY TO USE: this printer features with simpler and an all-metal construction, making it reliable and precise.
The print head can be raised wide open for easy cleaning and servicing and media loading. The printer includes an adjustable media sensor allowing you to detect black marks, label gaps and
notchs across the media.
The color-coded operator levers within the printer are designed to make media loading incredibly simple and to facilitate the operation with the printer.
The LCD control panel allows you to make adjustments to the printer, such as print position, interface’s configuration, etc. Even an untrained operator can easy operate this printer, following the instructions at LCD control panel, logically set in menus and categories.
INTERFACES - Parallel and serial ports are included as standard on the printer with optional IEEE1284 parallel, Ethernet and Wireless LAN interfaces which can be easily installed.
EASY MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE – The print head and the media platen roller are constructed in a way that they can be changed in just one minute, without any additional adjustments.

  
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS: 

• Pallet labels size A4 or A5, corresponding to ODETTE, SSCC, AIAG standards, etc. Widely used in dispatching and more-recently in logistics for marking pallets and containers. 
• Replacement for continuous and regular laser printers and dot matrix printers. With an automatic cutter the printer can be successfully used as a replacement for continuous and regular laser printers or dot matrix printers for printing delivery notes or packaging lists, used in warehouses, shipping agencies and other  “hostile” environments where dust and dirt cause regular problems with laser printers.
• Chemical barrel labeling. Often using labels with pre-printed colored boxes, the details of the barrel contents and mandatory warning signs are over-printed in black on a individual basis.
• Wide-format banner printing – banners from synthetic materials like polypropylene or polyester can be printed with this printer.
